The Social Science Research Lab (SSRL) is a multi-functional and multi-faceted facility providing quantitative and technology research expertise across various disciplines including international relations and economics. Located in the second floor of the Hurst building, the facility includes a classroom with 21 stations and a general work area with 13 computers.
SSRL consultants provide support for specialized statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, STATA and many others, with expertise ranging from creating an effective research design to interpreting statistical results. The SSRL also offers support for non-statistical software related to research and online publication.

Reserve a Computer
To better serve students and faculty interested in using software that is not installed on all machines, please use the links below to reserve timeslots. Please note you must have a Google account to reserve a timeslot. If you see no timeslots available on a given day, it means they have already been taken. Timeslots are hour increments during lab hours.

The printers in the SSRL and SPA labs require the AU EagleBuck$ Card. Black-and-white laser printing is 10 cents per page. Color laser printing is one dollar per page and is available through the New Media Center.
