A key part of CTRL’s mission is to collaborate with faculty in developing their teaching and research skills. Our cornerstone programs include:

• The annual, day long Ann Ferren Conference on Teaching, Research & Learning
• Noontime Conversations held several times each semester
• The AU Entrée Program for new tenure line and term faculty
• Teaching, Research and Technology workshops at the start of the fall semester
• Technology in the Classroom workshops throughout the academic year
• Consulting in quantitative and qualitative research methods software applications
• User support for high performance computer cluster
• Training for faculty teaching online and hybrid courses
• Orientations for new Tenure line, term, and adjunct faculty

Pedagogical Consultations

Faculty who are looking to improve their instructional strategies, brainstorm ways to interact with and/or support students or evaluate their course syllabus, goals and student learning outcomes are invited to request an individual consultation.
