A self-professed "political junkie," Chris knows many of the key players in federal, state and local governments as well as how Washington works. He draws from his relationships and this knowledge to advise undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Public Affairs. In his advising, Chris not only focuses on the internship and job search process, but also on helping students take their knowledge and experiences to the next level.
Prior to coming to AU in 2004, Chris served as Program Manager for the Campaign for African American Achievement at the Urban League of Pittsburgh and Counselor for the Penn State University Educational Talent Search Program, a federal TRIO program. He is experienced in providing admissions, career planning, and financial aid counseling to both youth and adult clients.
