Employment Session for International Students in F-1 Visa Status
• Are you an international student in F-1 status?
• Are you interested in working off-campus before or after graduation?
• Do you want to know if you can volunteer or have an unpaid internship this summer?
• Do you want to learn how to get employment authorization?
International Student and Scholar Services invites you to an information session outlining the eligibility requirements, legal limitations pertaining to unpaid internships, and the process of obtaining employment authorization for F-1 students.
If you are an F-1 student looking at possible work or internship experience this summer, come learn how to navigate the process so you can take advantage of all the opportunities available! A question and answer session will follow.

H-1B Information Session
Mr. Mark Rhodes, an immigration attorney from McCandlish Holton, PC, will be speaking about the H-1B visa and other work visa options. If you are graduating soon or are in OPT and have questions about how to transition from student to work visa, do not miss this information session.
Mr. Rhodes will address some of the following questions:
• When can you apply for a H1-B visa?
• What does your employer do in the process?
• How do you transition from student to work visa?
• How long can you work in the US on an H-1B visa?
• How do you move to permanent residence from H1-B visa?
