Latin America, Europe, and Asia

Kogod's International Management Practices course (IBUS-244) combines on-campus sessions with travel to dynamic locations across the globe during winter, spring, or summer break. Through on-site visits to multinational and domestic firms, students with an interest in the global economy learn experientially how the political, economic, and cultural environments of the region/country influence business strategy and management practices.

Course locations rotate throughout the year between Latin America, Europe, and Asia, and students may enroll multiple times to study multiple economies. Students can choose to enroll in either a 2-credit or 3-credit section of the course, depending on their schedule and academic goals.

During 2011-2012, IBUS-244 courses traveled to Chile, Greece, Turkey, and China. Past courses have traveled throughout Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
