  • Professor English has taught extensively across the different functional areas in finance, with a recent focus on investments, fixed income, international finance and financial management. English received his doctorate in International Finance from the University of South Carolina and was chartered by the CFA Institute in 2007. His research interests include investment company regulation, mutual fund performance, corporate governance, law and finance and emerging markets. His research appears in the Journal of Law and Economics, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Investing, and the Emerging Market Review.
