Sports Center-Partial Power Outage
On Thursday, May 24th, from 9PM to 5AM, there will be a power outage in the Sports Center which will only affect the lighting in the Pool Area and Arena. This interruption is necessary to make some repairs and upgrades.. Turn off all electronic equipment prior to the outage. Please share this information with anyone who might be impacted.
March 24-Pipe Repairs
On Thursday, May 24th, from 7am until approximately 12 noon , Facilities Management will be making pipe repairs which will affect the chill water (ac) servicing Clark,
Rockwood, Gray, McCabe and the Public Safety Building. During this time, the air condition will not be functioning.
KOGOD Underground Pipe Repairs
On May 26 after 8:00 am, ACI will start excavation of the walkway on the Quad entrance to KOGOD (Old New Lecture Hall). Procedure is necessary to examine the underground chilled water pipe leak. Area of work will be fenced. This section of the building will be without air condition (ac) from 8am-4pm. There will be noise and dust disruption during this process.
Pipe repairs will begin May 29th and end June 2nd, work will be done from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm daily. This process will cause minimal disruption and the ac will not be affected.
Fire Alarm Testing
Starting May 19 and ending June 10 from 5:00 am and ending before 6:00 pm, Facilities Management will be testing the fire alarm systems in some buildings. Affected areas and dates are listed below. During the testing, you will hear bells ringing occasionally, but only for brief moments at a time. .
