Professor Bono.
James Bono
Assistant Professor
Department of Economics
- Professor Bono's research is in the development of statistical models of strategic behavior. He is particularly focused on integrating results from behavioral economics with machine learning techniques to construct predictive models that are computationally tractable on real world domains. One example is his work for NASA predicting airline equipage dynamics under various designs of the National Airspace System. Another example is his collaboration with researchers at Los Alamos National Labs on cyber security for smart power grids. Professor Bono teaches PhD advanced microeconomic theory (ECON 713), masters microeconomic theory (ECON 500) and undergraduate game theory (ECON 345).
