The American University Alumni Board is made up of a dedicated group of volunteers who work to actively engage other alumni in the life of the university.  Members have the opportunity to play a key role in guiding the efforts and initiatives of the Office of Alumni Relations and to serve as regional, national, and international ambassadors of American University.

Erin Fuller, SPA/BA '93, SPA/MPA '94, is serving her first two-year term as president of the Alumni Board.  Erin is group president of strategy and innovation at the Coulter Companies, a comprehensive management and headquarters service solution for nonprofit organizations.  Read more . . .


Chip Griffin, SPA/BA '94, is serving his first two-year term as vice president of the Alumni Board.  Chip is the chief digital officer at the DCI Group, a leading public affairs firm in Washington, D.C., and chairman and co-founder of Custom Scoop, a media intelligence company.  Read more . . .


Sandra Walter-Steinberg, KSB/BSBA '86, is serving her first two-year term as secretary of the Alumni Board.  Sandra is director of development at Aplastic Anemia and MDS International Foundation and is chief strategist and principal for the Sandra M. Walter and Associates Consulting.  Prior to this, she served as director of communication for the National Marathon at Greater Washington Sports Alliance and as vice president of development at D.C.
